My fiance and I each have a funny story of how we met. We knew of each other from mutual friends but had never really hung out. We happened to run into each other back in 2008 when I started working at his job. If my fiance were to tell the story, he would say we met over me starring at his Whooper because I was “hungry ( I do not recall this ever happened, lol).” I say it was his jokes. He was the funniest guy I have ever met. Little did we know that we would later steal each other’s hearts and become an intimate part of each other’s life. As the saying goes, “there is someone for anyone at any time in this life,” and we were about to find out that this saying was so true.
Our proposal was simplistic. We went out to eat, and my fiance could not decide if we should take a walk on the beach afterwards or go home and enjoy each other’s company while watching a movie. He decided on the beach, which I thought was strange because anyone that knows my fiance knows he’s not a fan of the beach. However, I was open to walking alongside the boardwalk and eating ice cream with my fiance. He decided we should stop at our house first to get a couple of things (the ring). I then decided while waiting we should stay home and watch a movie. I went to turn around to ask if he was okay with the change of plans, and he pulled me close and got down on one knee, and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I love how well we balance each other out. Ashley- “He is someone who cares so much for others and is always there for me.” I love how we always find a way to make each other smile. Will- “She’s got a big heart and is a genuine person.” What we are looking forward to the most, besides getting to spend the rest of our lives together, is having everyone that we truly care about together, all in a place that is so beautiful itself. We can not wait to meet, greet, and see everyone on our special day! #happilyeverETIENNE
