We're getting married!

We met the summer of 2004 at church camp, through our mutual friend Kim. We went to different high schools, so we kept in touch through AIM chat and hung out on weekends. Johnnie's favorite number is 23 and he waited until the 23rd of May in 2005 to ask me out. This is how we picked our wedding day!

Johnnie took me, Angela, to the park where he first asked me to be his girlfriend twelve years ago. Our friend Lauren was hiding in the bushes photographing while Johnnie got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said “Of course!” as my eyes started to water. Johnnie pointed out Lauren, then a large group of our friends emerged from behind a house, cheering us on. That’s when the tears really began to fall! Champagne was poured, followed by dinner & dancing. It was perfect.
