Maid of Honor
Sara is the bride's older and wiser sister, and MOH. Sara's strength and kindness shine through in everything she does. She is the queen of shopping, beauty, and makeup. Growing up, she drove me absolutely crazy with her endless singing and stubborn refusal to wear matching outfits (seriously, it was a battle), but through it all, she was always my protector. She had this amazing way of getting me out of trouble, even if it meant putting herself in the line of fire. Whether it's a girls trip or reminiscing about childhood days spent playing Barbies, Sara's heart has always been there me, and I'm blessed excited to have her stand by my side on this special day.
Best Man
Since my early days in the cold of Russia, this guy has been by my side. In fact, it wasn't until 2021 when I moved down to Arizona that Micah and I hadn't been in the same city. If you know Micah, you know he is a man of unfettered passion. Whether it is teaching, supporting a social justice cause, or even learning a new dance, Micah goes all in while attracting those around him towards his interests. Despite being 15 months younger, and I know that will still shock most of you who continue to argue he is older, I've learned many things in life from watching him grow up with me. In fact, we both have matching brother tattoos in which I'm reminded to "Choose Joy" in my daily life just as he does every waking moment of his. I am eternally thankful to have him as my best man as someone who has fought with me and fought for me countless times and a brother I will continue to support and cheer on in every endeavor. If you're reading this, I love you man.

We’ve been friends since our early 20s, and there’s something about those adult friendships that really help you find who you are. From girls' nights filled with chocolate and wine, crashing celebrity parties (because why not?), to heart-to-hearts, she’s been a constant source of support and honesty. She's the kind of friend who’s always straight with you but supports you without judgment, I’ve truly appreciated her accountability and the way she’s always been there for me, no matter what. On top of being an amazing friend, she’s also the best mom and wife—watching her juggle it all with so much grace and love has been nothing short of inspiring. I'm beyond lucky to have her in my life and by my side on this special day.

Michael has always been like a second brother to me since 1st grade. We grew up raised by each other's families in our homeschool community and we spent half of each week together for over 10 years. Coming in at 6'2, Michael is a catch and a half. Though I am competitive by nature and naturally good at most things I dabble in, Michael is always there to effortlessly humble me by being 200% better. I have nothing but respect for this guy and, though I wish he would move out of his 250 person town of Nowhere, Oregon, I am thankful for every text and phone call over the years to catch up on faith, girls, guns, and golf. Remember the name "Ziccarelli" because it won't be long before you see his name next to Scottie Scheffler.

We may not have hit it off right away (in fact, we didn’t like each other at first!), but fast forward to now, and we’re besties. We’ve been friends since second grade, and she’s been by my side through thick and thin. As a kid, we spent countless hours playing mermaids in the pool, and while I wasn’t the volleyball pro, she totally owned it on the court. We even survived being roommates for a year in college, which only made our bond stronger. Megan is a die-hard Seahawks fan? I’m lucky to have her energy, loyalty, and laughter in my life, and I can’t wait to have her by my side on this special day.

Corndog and I have been practically day 1 buddies since I made my solo move down to Arizona. Being from the PNW himself, Connor and I immediately became friends via golf and too many memorable nights in Old Town Scottsdale. In 2022, I finally got to live with Connor for two years in a house that held open doors to anyone we knew and I always appreciated his openness to new friends and good times. Having won "Best Mullet in Maricopa" in 2022 and 2023, I was inspired to grow my own mullet out and am proud to say I took that trophy home for 2024 (much to his disbelief). Connor has always been someone I can be open with and can guarantee will listen selflessly to me when I need it. Oh, and if there's a drink to be made, let Connor give you a taste of "The Standring Pour"!

We've been friends since first grade, and it's been nothing short of a wild ride. From playing freeze tag on endless summer afternoons to swapping tattoos as kids (we thought we were so cool), she’s been there through it all. With her blonde hair and a laugh that lights up every room, she's the one who always knows how to bring the fun (and moves on the dance floor!). Alexa has a serious love for carrots—don’t ask why, but if you ever need one, she’s your girl! More than just my bridesmaid, she’s a sister at heart, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this special day.

When I moved to Arizona, I was nervous about finding friends who would be genuinely good, honest people. I don't know why, because within the first year, Josh moved to town from Kansas City and I was immediately hooked on his ability to pursue people wholly. Josh is your go-to restaurant connoisseur, your resident #1 Taylor Swift fan, and one of the most organized event planners for group functions. I've been blessed by the way he has entered the lives of Kayla and I in our relationship and continues to support and cheer us on in every endeavor. This guy can bench 600lbs and hit a golf ball across two football fields so ladies, you know what to do :)

I've had the privilege of being friends with Kaelyn since second grade, back when our moms decided we should go on a blind friend date (thankfully, it worked out!). From water park adventures to endless hours in the pool, we’ve spent our childhoods swimming, walking to the park, and being friends to every dog we met along the way. She’s one of the quickest-witted people I know, always ready with a joke or a playful yet sharp comment—though if you’re not paying attention, you might miss it because most of it is said quietly under her breath. But don’t let that fool you—her heart is as big as her humor. She’s someone who deeply cares for her friends, always putting others first and offering support in the quietest, most meaningful ways. I’m so lucky to be one of her friends. Truly, she's the kind of person who makes life brighter just by being in it.

If you read the sneak peak of our story on the home page, Matt is the roommate who I was talking about. Matt has always been someone who I consider good at being a friend. Driven and rooted, I've learned a lot about only chasing what matters most to you and being okay with saying no to things that don't bring you long-term fulfillment. Matt and I got to live together as well for two years and one thing I learned quickly about him is he is either the luckiest man alive when it comes to sports bets, golfing and life, or he is exactly the kind of person you want to be near who can teach you while also being teachable. Despite having a net worth of $1.2 million, Matt is humble and easy-going and has been a rock since the first month I met him.

I first met Abby at church a couple years ago, but we really got to know each other through our small group, where we spent countless hours diving into the word and later expanding into talks about boys, relationships, and, of course, life. From there, we became fast friends, and when it came time for an adventure trip, she was my go-to partner in crime. We snorkeled our way through Belize, Honduras, and Medico. When she’s not scuba diving or living her best adventure-filled life, you can find her adding hot sauce to everything—salads, sandwiches, you name it. She even carries a bottle in her purse, just in case! I’m so grateful for her constant support, gentle spirit, and all the memories we’ve made together. I couldn’t imagine this special day without her by my side!

When I found out I was about to become friends with a guy who was the president of his fraternity, I was nervous. I was a homeschool kid in the presence of university greatness. However, Alex has been one of the most down-to-earth and humble men I have gotten the honor to grow with over the past few years. While I may never have a beard as full and beautiful as Alex's I have benefitted from learning to be a better friend by being around him. Despite being a tad hard of hearing from going too hard at a Wiggles concert in 2009, Alex is a great listener and has always checked in on my life, my family and my relationship. If you have a chance to get to know a Newcomer in your life, take it and milk it for all its worth and I can guarantee you will come out being a better person.
