Paul's Pastry Shop & Morning Cafe
This place makes one of the best Mardi Gras King Cakes on the Coast! It's super close to the hotel and also has a lunch menu. Muffalettas are a favorite of ours!
Wild Acres
This animal sanctuary does themed events and intimate guided tours where you actually get to interact with and feed some of the animals. They offer lots of choices and reservations are required, so make sure to check out their website before you go!
Buc-ee's
The world's largest convenience store just opened their 2nd-biggest location here in Mississippi! A road-trip must-see. Beaver Nuggets are a necessary purchase.
Half Shell Oyster House
One of our favorite restaurants for date-night. Everything here is great, but their Orleans Snow Crab Claws, Charbroiled Oysters, and Southern Pecan Old Fashions are to die for.
Beau Rivage Resort & Casino
While there are lots of fun casinos on the Coast, the Beau is our favorite!
Kilwin's
Ice cream, chocolate, and fudge, oh my! This treat shop is located in the heart of downtown Ocean Springs, a cute little area where you can spend the afternoon walking around and also find some nightlife!
The Shed Barbeque & Blues Joint
One of few places we're reluctant to share our food with each other. They also have live music!
Cafe Du Monde
The original coffee & beignets stand in the French Market of New Orleans, right next to Jackson Square. A must in the heart of the city.
Brennan's
This gorgeous restaurant in the French Quarter is famous for inventing Banana's Foster! They're known for their "Breakfast at Brennan's," and also do lunch and dinner.
New Orleans Botanical Gardens
A lovely place to visit if spending the day in the city!
