Nick and Katie have know each other since they were kids, our family's went to the same church. So, we were around each other often! For several years they didn't see each other, they had lost touch and then later Katie had left for college. One Easter, Katie went to church with her mom and they saw each other. Nick was very excited and wanted to talk to her. Katie was nervous, hahah. After church had ended, Katie and her mom had left before they had the chance to talk. Nick messaged her the next day, and they started talking and hanging out. Before you know it, they started hanging out as much as they could, got a puppy together and moved to a new city!

Nick had proposed to Katie, in Hawaii, on a family vacation with Nicks family. They had wanted to do some hiking while in Hawaii, so Nick knew it was the perfect moment. We went on a sunset hike on sunset beach. We got to the top there was a pillbox that overlooked the whole north side of the island. It was amazing! Katie had gone underneath the underside of the pillbox, with Nicks brother Jake, to see all the art and look at the view from the inside while, Nick had stayed up-top. When Katie got back up to the top, we both stood on top of the pillbox, Katie turned around and Nick was on one knee. Of course she said yes! We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
