Question

What precautions is the venue taking amidst COVID-19?

Answer

Below are the 7 steps that the Ivy House is taking as precautions: 1. New Dishwashers: The Ivy House has installed new dishwashers that heat to a high temperature to ensure that germs are killed. 160 degrees is standard, these heat everything to 180 degrees. 2. Sanitation Specialist: A designated staff member will be on a constant loop of the premises wiping down high-traffic areas and furniture. 3. Bar Windows: Plexiglas windows hang in between you and the bartenders. 4. Staff Masks: Staff will be masked at all times 5. Staff Temp Check: Each staff member working that night will be temperature checked prior to the event 6. Hand Sanitizing: Hand sanitizing stations will be provided at each corner of the bar 7. Bye, Germs: A UV-C light (cleaning equipment that can kill up to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses both on surfaces or when airborne) was used in every corner of the venue.
