We recommend flying into LAX and staying at the Airtel Plaza Hotel. There are FLYAWAY buses that operate from LAX to Van Nuys about every half hour to hour. The cost is $9 per trip. The Airtel provides shuttle service from the Van Nuys stop to the hotel!
