Micaela and Chris first crossed paths in high school, though they were in different grades and didn't hang out with the same crowd. That night, they ended up falling asleep on the same couch. It was cold, and Chris gave Micaela his jacket to stay warm. She decided to "borrow" it so he'd have a reason to text her—and he did! Their first official hangout was at Chris's house. They planned to get ice cream, but instead, they spent the entire night talking and getting to know each other. It didn’t take long for both of them to realize that they had found "the one." On July 7, 2019, Chris asked Micaela to be his girlfriend, and since then, they've been falling more in love with each passing day. They had talked about spending forever together since the very beginning—and on July 9, 2024, while celebrating their 5 years of dating, Chris made it official and proposed. Now, what they dreamed of from the start is finally coming true—and they can't wait to say "I do" on November 6, 2026!
