Located within 30 minutes of Crispin Hill, Heron Hill makes one of Megan’s favorite Finger Lakes wines: a semi dry Riesling.

Heron Hill Winery

Part petting zoo, part fiber mill. The owners are truly delightful and care for alpacas, pigs, chickens, bunnies, and more.

Autumn Mist Alpaca Farm & Fiber Mill

Toast rapidly became one of Megan's favorite wineries in the Seneca Wine Trail. Pickle pairings are offered frequently, and their mulled wine is always a delightful treat.

If you fly into Elmira or have time to make the trip into Corning, Burgers and Beer is our favorite joint. Simple food and excellent services means we are frequent guests.

Burgers & Beer of Corning

One visit and we were hooked on their pizza and cannoli. With excellent views over Seneca Lake, Scale House has quickly become a solid compromise in dinner debates.

Scale House Brewery

Upscale and delicious food, with excellent views of Keuka Lake. Either pop in over for lunch Scuttlebutt or make a reservation at Main Deck, but make sure to look for the red Crispin Hill barn over the lake.
