Maid of Honor
We've been close friends since we were awkward kids in middle school and we even became accountability partners once we made it to college (although our workout routines largely consisted of Chik-fi-La). I can always count on Sarah, no matter the occasion. I knew she'd be my maid of honor long before I knew I'd need one. She was the first person to find out about my engagement and I was so excited that I asked her right away over the phone! I'm so incredibly lucky that she said yes to helping me on this journey to begin the rest of my life.
Best Man
I was lucky enough to get the best dad in the world so it was only fitting that he would also be my best man. He's taught me a lot throughout my life and I know there are plenty of more lessons to come. I can't think of anyone with a better marriage than my mom and dad and I hope I can emulate their love in my marriage as well.
Bridesmaid
Bride-to-be of Garrett's brother, Austin, Alexis is the definition of spunky. It's practically impossible to run out of conversation topics with her because she's basically a walking encyclopedia, especially pertaining to law and food. She is smart, nothing short of hilarious, and doesn't hold back her personality. She is a joy to be around and, let's face it, I need her decisiveness in the wedding party. She definitely knows what she wants and how to get it and I am so excited to have her support on my big day!
Groomsman
Even though Austin is six years older than me he has always been, and still is, one of my closest friends. Some of my best memories are of me and my brother speaking a language that was practically made up entirely of inside jokes and puns that somehow made sense to us. As a kid I always looked up to my older brother and I'm excited to have him with me during one of the most important moments of my life.
Bridesmaid
Lauren, sister to Garrett, warmly welcomed me into the Hagood family from day one. She was, and still is, kind, charismatic, and so genuine. I was probably the most nervous about impressing her than I was anyone else! I'm so glad that I did because she's slowly helping me understand what it feels like to have a sister. I couldn't think of a sweeter or more supportive person to have by my side on my wedding day!
Groomsman
Lauren brought this humble giant into our home what feels like twenty years ago. Austin was the first person that I have ever had to welcome into my family and from the start he was a perfect fit. Now Austin is like a brother to me and it seems appropriate that he would be there to help me welcome another person into my, now large, family.
