Our families have known each other for many years! We both attended Laurel Highlands School District and lived a couple streets apart. Morgan’s grandfather always told Ricardo’s father that one of his son’s should date one of his granddaughters and as fate would have it... You’d think our love story begins here but doesn’t! We actually connected on Bumble and went on our first date October 26, 2017. From that day forward we began writing our very own happily ever after!

Ricardo woke up early and got ready before Morgan for what seemed like the first time ever! It was a rainy Labor Day and Morgan wanted to watch a Harry Potter marathon. Ricardo made “lunch plans” with friends to meet their baby so Morgan hopped off the couch, took a quick shower, and obliged-not bothering to wash her hair or choose a new outfit! Ricardo also wanted to take the new puppy, Ellie. After a windy, rainy, drive up the mountain, we hopped out of the Jeep with Ellie in tow. Ricardo insisted on seeing the falls before lunch but Morgan was getting hangrier by the minute! After practically guiding her down the muddy slope by the hand, Ricardo got Morgan to the river. There, he got down on one knee, ready to pop the question! Ellie wore a cute bandana that read, “Will you marry me?” When Morgan read the bandana she excitedly squealed out, “NO YOU’RE NOT! I DIDN’T WASH MY HAIR!” Which was quickly followed by an enthusiastic, “YES!!”. Our families watched it all unfold from the bridge and helped us celebrate afterwards at Falls City Pub!
