The couple met in high school in 2008 when Amanda was a freshman and Mike was a junior. They both lived in Tottenville and took home the 59 bus together everyday. Amanda had the biggest crush on Mike but she never thought an older boy wanted anything to do with a freshman. After taking the bus together for months and months, Amanda and Mike started to flirt, and one day, Mike wound up being Amandas first kiss. As time went by, the two continued as friends and eventually Mike graduated from high school the following year. About 6 years later, Amanda and Mike reconnected again and started building a relationship. They started dating on January 11, 2017 and soon later adopted their dog/son King and became a little family. They started to house hunt a year into dating and purchased their first home together in New Jersey on March 29,2018. Exactly a year later, after coming home from work, Amanda thought she was running in the house to say hi and bye to Mike who told her he had a DJ job that night. Leaving the car running because she had a nail appointment, Amanda walks into her house and immediately hears Bruno Mars playing "Marry You". She turns the corner of the living room and was greeted by King while Mike stood at the other end of the room in a suit. The whole room was set up with balloons and rose petals and was literally a dream come true. Amanda was in complete shock, she did not see this coming at all but has never been happier. Mike got on one knee and asked her to marry her and of course she said yes! March 29, 2019 Mike and Amanda became engaged. How many people can say they married their first kiss? 13 years later after meeting, the couple will be married finally. The wedding will be held at Arianas Grand on June 5, 2021 and will be the best day of their lives.
