Alex and Melissa met when Melissa was hired on at the Orlando real estate firm that Alex worked for. Alex played hard to get at first, but spent a little more time than usual around the front desk that Melissa had come to occupy. In passing one afternoon, Alex asked Melissa if she would be interested in joining his kickball team, and she agreed. It was then that their friendship began to blossom. They started spending more time together at the office after hours getting caught up on work, sharing a pizza, and a box of wine. They had many adventures with one another, to include a teeth whitening adventure, many nights out on the town, and a couple of cruises. In the spring of 2017 Alex bought a house, which Melissa was incredibly proud of him for doing, he offered her one of the spare rooms and asked her to be his roommate. When they moved into his still being renovated home, they had yet another adventure working through the hiccups of a nearly finished home, showering at the gym because they didn't have working showers, brushing their teeth together at the kitchen sink, and grilling all of their dinners outside. This adventure is one of Melissa's favorites. It was soon clear to most everyone in Alex and Melissa's lives that they were not just friends, and that a beautiful and loving relationship was forming between the two of them. Once they realized it themselves they couldn't be more happy to have found each other. Over the course of 2018 Melissa and Alex's relationship grew exponentially, they became closer as best friends and fell more in love. They went on a whirlwind of adventures visiting Costa Rica with friends, traveling to Wisconsin to visit with family, and wandering around Nashville and Savannah to name a few. Melissa and Alex both knew that they had found life partners in each other and on Christmas of 2018 Alex made it official by getting down on one knee in front of their families and asking Melissa to be his wife. Melissa happily said yes!
