What a Journey!

#HappilyEverWooten

If you would’ve told us in 2011 that we were going to spend the rest of our lives together, we both would have laughed so loud in disbelief! The Bride's Story: I could not stand KaShawn! I’ve told this story so many times and it has not changed. Lol. We met at a college party and it was all a coincidence that I left my sunglasses. He was kind enough to return them to me and he has had me giggling ever since. Even though we started off as only friends, we grew closer and always stood by each other's side. Best Friends turned Lovers! We have had so many downs, but it never stopped us from picking things up and trying again! All I can say is I love this man and it's only UP from here. As we grow older and hit the bumps in life, he will always be the piece of the puzzle of life that fits me perfectly. The Groom’s Story: 10 years ago was the starting point of where my life changed. When I met Shakira she was a cool person with a good vibe. She swear she didn’t like me but deep down she lowkey did. Lol Did I know at that time she was the one? NOT AT ALL, but I’m glad she was. I’m not going to lie and say this journey wasn’t hard because it was. There were times where we should’ve called it quits, but somehow it ALWAYS figured itself out. I always tell her now when we reminisce “God kept us together, ain’t no way we met how we met, went through all the things we went through and still here just off “US” alone”. We always hold each other down and always pick each other up, that’s my rider and I’m her shooter. I always say, “It seems like we been through it all” but now that we’re getting married, this is just the beginning!
