Rebecca and Carly have been inseparable since meeting at Hayfield Secondary School in 2008. They bonded over their love for the Washington Capitals. They were so close that they were able to convince their high school friends that they were cousins (they didn't think they could get away with convincing everyone they were sisters, so cousins made the most sense). Tough break for their friends at graduation when they told them the real story. From Disney to New York, they love to travel together and make new memories with each other. When it came time for Carly to pick her Maid of Honor, there was no contest.
Matt Floyd
Best Man
Best Man #1! Brothers by blood, gaming teammates and friends by choice. With 8 years between them, Matt was the lucky one to teach Erick everything he knew about...well everything. Growing up, he always got to have a teammate around when he wanted to play a quick game online. Erick followed closely in his brothers footsteps, from swimming in high school, going to Virginia colleges, and continuing to game. They occasionally still play a round of World of Warcraft. Erick's title of brother to Matt holds strong, but Matt added another title of uncle 10 years ago to Erick's repertoire . Erick decided that two heads are better than one and asked Matt to be 1 of his best men to make his day even better than it could ever be.
Madison Fichtner

Madison is Erick's cousin and certified BFF of Carly. They bonded over their obsession with all things Disney, all before they had met in person. With Madison living in Texas, and Carly & Erick in Virginia and opposite work schedules, it made it difficult for them to meet in person. When they finally did in 2019, it was game over. There was no separating them! While Carly and Madison are besties, they soon get to be cousins. Carly is for sure looking forward to the day she gets to OFFICIALLY call Madison her family.
Wayne Rumsey
Best Man
Best Man #2! Wayne and Erick met serving together at Carlyle many years ago (if we say how many, they'll deny it). Wayne comes from a large family who all love to play board games together, and when his family isn't around, Erick volunteers to fill the void. They have started to continue a traditional game night when time allows, and are very close to finishing their first legacy game. While they have parted ways in the restaurant industry, Wayne and Erick continue their friendship outside of work, sharing a love for board games and bourbon or rum tastings. Erick struggled to decide who would be the perfect best man for his day, so he asked them to split the weight and both be by his side to have the best wedding possible.
Corinne Menapace
Bridesmaid
Cousins by blood, friends by choice. While Corinne and Carly didn't get to meet until later in life, that didn't stop them from becoming very close, once they finally got the family tree down of how they were actually related. They've planned family reunions together (if you're a Menapace, that task isn't easy), and now Corinne gets to stand by Carly's side for her special day. They both share a love for baking, even though Corinne should probably be a professional and Carly should probably not consider leaving her day job.
Jackson Trollinger
Groomsman
Jackson and Erick met at Carlyle (I think there's a GAR trend here...) back in 2016. They quickly bonded over their love for computer games and building their own computers. While working together all the time wasn't enough, they would get off of a shift together and come home to game together. Carly and Erick were able to bring Jackson to Disney World for his first trip EVER in 2019. Ever since, Jackson was a frequent Disney adult with them both. Even though they all work at different locations within Great American Restaurants now, that doesn't keep Erick and Jackson from continuing their gaming traditions to this day.
Katie Steiner
Bridesmaid
All they had to do was say Disney, and the rest is history. Katie and Carly met while working at Carlyle back in 2018. They hadn't met each other face to face, but both had only heard how close they would become after meeting. A week later, and everything everyone said came true. Katie and Carly have gone on many Disney trips together and many more are planned in the future! Whoever thought that a spoonful of sugar and a little bit of pixie dust would bring two people together to be such close friends?
Austin Fichtner
Groomsman
Another cousin to add to the party! Austin and Erick were always close growing up, which of course led to some pretty crazy shenanigans. During family visits, they would always carve out time for a few rounds of Catan. Now, they introduce each other to their new favorite board games. While they don't get to see each other as often as they used to, they are still very close and enjoy spending time together when they are able. When it came time to pick his groomsmen, Erick couldn't think of anyone better than Austin to help make his wedding day special.
