HOW WE MET - ARIS

October 2019

It all started with a prayer, a dead battery and flat tire. It was a Friday night and I was preparing my self for a self care date night. While getting ready I said a prayer letting God know I was ready for my next journey. I asked God to send me my husband. On this particular night I had decided to drive “Sadie” my 2000 Honda Civic. The only problem was my battery was dead. I called roadside assistance. To my surprise when my roadside technician pulled up a fine chocolate man got out the car. I’m panicking because I had rushed out to meet him and only had 1 lash put on. I was hoping he didn’t notice, he didn’t. After he restarted my car and put air in my tire. He told me, “ your the most beautiful thing I’ve seen all day. I said, “ If you think I’m so beautiful why you didn’t ask me for my number.” He said,” I already got your number I was just waiting on your permission to use it.” It was at that moment that our love story began.

HOW WE MET - JUSTIN

OCTOBER 2019

At the time was a contracted roadside assistance tech, I had just finished a long shift that should’ve ended hours ago. The company had 2 drivers call out that day and me being the helpful person I am offered to run calls until they could get ahold of other drivers around the area. I was Exhausted and couldn’t do another call so I headed towards the highway ramp. While waiting for the light to turn green on the highway ramp I received a call that was only 4 mins away, a dispatcher called to beg me before I could even deny the call. “F#@k” I screamed as I made a u-turn, I wanted to be a team player and couldn’t leave the company or customer hanging. I arrived to the gated community a little frustrated and at this point anything would of set me off 🤬. “How’s it going I’m Justin your roadside tech, I’m at you gate”, a woman’s voice replied “give me one sec” mind you I’m in Atlanta and I just serviced a number of rude, stuck up, Boujee ladies with car problems that previous night so I had already made it up in my mind this woman was another. She sucked at giving directions to her car but I eventually found her. When I saw her my mood changed, I wasn’t tired anymore. I wanted to do the best job possible for this beautiful woman to possibly impress her and at the least create a friendship. I got the car started and not only that I noticed her tires needed air so I followed her to the gas station after the service was completed, I completely forgot I was exhausted haha. After all was said and done she thanked me and I asked for her IG, she said “why get my IG and not my number” I replied “🧐 I already have I, I was just waiting on your permission to use it”.
