We met like many other couples meet - at a bar. Kylie began working at Texas Roadhouse in Ashburn, VA and Nick was one of her on-the-job trainers. The first thing he said to her was, "I'm not going to remember your name." Despite this first impression, she immediately fell in love with his eyes, as that's all she could see behind his mask. They began spending time together outside of work, playing board games and watching Disney movies. They officially began dating on March 12, 2022, and the rest is history!

Kylie was in California for the first ever Zenith handbell event. Nick joined her for the closing concert. The next day they went to Disneyland! Nick went through a separate security line, wore a very warm shirt, and insisted on waiting in line for a picture in front of the castle. Kylie didn't question any of the oddities, and when Nick got down on one knee, it all made sense. Kylie's front-of-the-castle proposal dreams came true.
