Question

What is the preferred wedding attire?

Answer

We ask that guests try to adhere to a semi-formal dress code so that everyone looks and feels their best on our big day. Suits with blazers, gowns and cocktail dresses are preferred. Please no jeans or casual attire.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that all guests arrive by 4pm EST. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm EST, at which time the doors will be closed. Any late arrivals will be required to wait outside after the ceremony starts to ensure there are no interruptions. Please be prompt!

May I bring a plus one? Are children allowed at the reception?

Answer

Plus ones will be listed by name on your formal wedding invitation or simply as "spouse" or "guest." Children and additional parties will be listed as "family." If you are unsure of how many people are included in your invitation, please refer to the RSVP page online by typing in your name for a full list of your invitees. Due to limited space at the venue, we ask that guests only RSVP for those accounted for in their party. If your children are invited, please be aware that alcoholic beverages will be served at dinner and throughout the evening and adult music will be played during the reception.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP's will be accepted primarily through the wedding website. However, those that prefer to text or call are more than welcome to do so instead. Formal invitations were sent out in July and all RSVP's will be due back no later than September 1st.

Will dinner be served? Will there be a bar with adult beverages?

Answer

A buffet style meal will be served with a variety of dinner options. Gluten free menu items will also be available. Guests are welcome to help themselves to all food and refreshments, including the open bar with cocktails for our adult guests.

How far is the nearest hotel for out-of-town guests? Will there be a discounted rate available?

Answer

The venue is located less than 20 minutes from several hotels in Waldorf, MD. While there is a large selection of hotel accommodations available, we have secured a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn for any guests that wish to take advantage of a discounted group rate.
