Ilissa DeLange

Maid of Honor

Ilissa and Lo meet freshman year in color guard and were bullied together by the same girl. They became college roommates and have been best friends ever since! One of the more memorable moments was the time Lo got locked in the bathroom because the door broke. Ilissa had to remove the door handle to rescue Lo. There is not a better person to be standing by the brides side.

Regan Macwan

Best Man

Regan and Jesse met at orientation for college but didn't really get to know each other until Bandcamp our freshman year. Since then, they've had a hectic friendship, with its fair share of ups and downs, but its something neither of them wouldn't trade it for the world. Now Regan gets to stand next to his best friend on the most important day of Jesse's life.

Kylie Luttrell

Maid of Honor

Kylie and Lo were both science majors and had the same schedule freshman year. They connected on a band trip to Rome and have been by each other's side ever since. Kylie is the sister Lo never had growing up. They have been roommates for years and have gotten into a lot of interesting situations together, all strengthening their bond. They are hiking buddies and are both passionate about conservation biology. Kylie is also one of Jesse's best friends.

Daniel Greene

Best Man

Dan and Jesse also met during Bandcamp; however, they didn't become fast friends until later in the fall when band had reached a lull. They both played the tuba and since they were from the same instrument section, they got to know each other anyway. They then started to hang out slowly which turned into most evenings, including trips to 6 flags to ride roller-coaster! Dan's been there to count on when Jesse wasn't sure who else to turn to a few times, like picking us up from the airport because we couldn't catch the shuttle back to campus after spring break when we were stuck in Boston. Now Dan gets to be that constant as a best man.

Melanie Peters

Melanie and Lo were both biology majors when they meet. Melanie and Lo were often lab partners during college. They are still good friends and support one another!

Keiffer Vogelmann

Keiffer was Regan's roommate until our junior year, when they moved into an apartment. The most analytical and logical in the group, he kept us grounded for the most part. Keiffer's voice came at a moment Jesse needed it most during that year. Our junior year was Jesse's last year, but from living with him, he's one of the most dependable and determined people Jesse has ever had the pleasure of calling "my friend".

Kevin was someone Jesse got to know while he was still in high school. He went to Smithfield and was homeschooled, but Jesse got to know him through bible quizzing. Kevin was the guy who seemed so stoic all the time, was as big of nerd as Jesse, if not more so in other ways. A stable friend, dependable, but he also taught me things he'd never realize he taught me- Things Jesse never understood until much later in life. Jesse was at Kevin's wedding and watched him grow as a loving husband towards his wife, Abigal.

Felicity Southerd

Felicity is Jesse's sister and a friend of Lo. Lo and Felicity share a love of animals and are both considered to be crackheads. Jesse sometimes wonders how his bride to be is so much like his sister. Jesse and Felicity grew up close, fighting like normal siblings, but are always there when one needs the other. They like to play video games together while Lo and felicity harass Jesse.

Ian Davis

Groomsman

Ian is the little brother of Lo and one of Jesse's friends. It was important to us that we included our siblings in our wedding party, which is why our siblings are paired together in our bridal party. Ian is a cool dude who constantly harassed his older sister of years. They did not get along often, but they loved each other and would do whatever was needed for the other.

Juliana Windhorst

Juliana and Lo have been friends since middle school. Juliana is one of Lo's oldest and most dear friends. They meet at teen camp and have been best friends ever since. They have been by each other's sides through all the ups and downs. They did bible quizzing together and made several trips to Boston together. They were always roommates at teen camp and helped each other grow in their faith. Even though they are miles apart from each other now, they are still best friends.

Jaylen Jenkins

Jaylen was tthe man Jesse roomed with all through college because of they both played smash bros. Jaylen and Jesse saw eye to eye in some of the best and worst ways freshman and sophomore year. Those years were stressful, chaotic even, but I wouldn't trade them for the world. Jesse thought about trying to convince Lo to let us have a pool for him, which is why we call him an Atlantian all the time. There were times where he would be sick, drink water and then be invincible for 3 weeks. "Sometimes I believe I would've never made it through freshman year if I hadn't roomed with him."

Rebekah Chase

Rebekah is about 2 months older than Lo and is the daughter to Terri Chase- Tracy's identical twin sister. Lo and Rebekah grew up together as best friends. Thanks to genetics, they looked like twin sisters growing up as well. They were in the woods together from a young age and have many treehouse camping stories!

Samuel Patterson

Jesse met Sam through Kevin in practice endeavors for quizzing and then a staple Jesse looked for at district events. While some games Kevin understood more, Sam understood others, but either way. The first time Jesse spent the night with Sam and Kevin, his mom made tacos and we ran out of tortilla's. So we joked about my bowl of taco minus a shell being, "El Carne." It then became a running gag between them. He taught Jesse most of what he knows about playing Ping Pong, and even invited him up one year around Christmas because he got a Ping Pong robot to serve at him.

Peter Roy

Father of the Bride and Officiant

Peter is the adopted father of Lo and is a Nazarene pastor. He will be co-officiating Lo and Jesse's wedding with Jesse's father. He will also help to walk Lo down the aisle.

Don Southerd

Father of the Groom and Officiant

Don is the father of Jesse and is a Nazarene pastor. He will be co-officiating Lo and Jesse's wedding with Lo's adopted father.

Karen Davis

Flower Gram

We decided to use our grandparents in our wedding party rather than the traditional flower girls and ring bearer. This is a way to honor them and allow them to be a part of our wedding in a unique way. Karen is Lo's gram, who is a small but might woman. She is typical gram and "has never been a flower girl."

Camilla Southerd

Flower Gram

We decided to use our grandparents in our wedding party rather than the traditional flower girls and ring bearer. This is a way to honor them and allow them to be a part of our wedding in a unique way. Camilla is Jesse's gram who taught Jesse how to love others unconditionally. Camilla is the cornerstone is Jesse's family and serves as a guiding point to him as we create our own family.

Tracy is Lo's mom, she will be walking Lo down the aisle with Lo's biological father. She will also light Lo's half of the unity candle, and will give Lo away.

William is Lo's biological mom; he will be walking Lo down the aisle alongside with Lo's biological mother. He will give Lo away.

Sherry Roy

Mother of the Bride

Sherry is the adopted mother of Lo (married to Peter). She will be escorted down the aisle by Lo's beloved dog Waffles.

Raina Southerd

Mother of the Groom

Raina is Jesse's mom, and she will be walking him down the aisle. She will also be lighting Jesse's half of the unity candle.

Ron Southerd

Ring Pap

We decided to use our grandparents in our wedding party rather than the traditional flower girls and ring bearer. This is a way to honor them and allow them to be a part of our wedding in a unique way. Ron is Jesse's grandfather and is considered to be goofball. We are excited to see what he will do as the Ring Pap on our special day.

Waffels

Official Escort

Waffles is the couple's dog, who is a very sweet corgi. She is the sweetest dog and will escort Sherry down the aisle. She will sit in the front row as her humans get married.
