Our love story began in Troy, MI back in late 2016. I was in registration while he was this handsome Security Officer. Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth over nights at work with slurpees I would bring along with deilous cookies. He of course was very sly in the way he got my phone number and told me he needed to send me a video of the new work trucks, he told me the video wouldn’t send over Facebook messenger and needed my phone number to send it. And of course the rest is history! Four years worth of memories later and we’ve been through more than most couples have been. But we’ve made it through. It hasn’t always been easier but it sure has been worth it, On Thanksgiving we decided to host, it being our first holiday in our new home we wanted to welcome our parents and my Aunt Shirl to our home. While I was working on dinner Paul was working on other things. He taught his dad how to use his phone to take photos, and made sure my ring was extra shinny. He called me into the living room during halftime time of the football game and made it a point to show me all the ornaments on our Christmas Tree. I turned away for one quick second and when I turned back he was on his knee! Of course with instant tears I said yes! We were so lucky to have our families there to celebrate with us on such a special moment!
