Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire for the wedding is semi-formal. For women appropriate attire includes long dresses, nicer cocktail dresses, or pantsuits. For women, we recommend wedges, block heels, or flats, as the wedding will be in a garden, and those will be best for walking on grass. We do not recommend stilettos. For men, tuxes, suits, or blazers.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

For the timing to arrive at the venue, encourage guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, 5:30 pm.

Should I be vaccinated to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes. The safety of our loved ones is our top priority. We will have our elderly family members in attendance as it is important to us to have our grandparents at our wedding. Please keep their safety in mind. We kindly ask that you please not attend if you are not vaccinated.

Where should I park?

Answer

Guests may park in any campus lots that don’t have a “N” before the number. The W02 Lot is the closest lot to the Founders Garden that is free parking. We recommend parking in that lot. If you are driving down Lumpkin St. from downtown, you can turn right on W Wray St. The parking lot will be on your left. Please note: W01” lot(s) are considered to be northern lots, so they are pay on the weekend. Please do not park in these lots unless you are comfortable paying to park. We have some handicap spaces available directly next to the venue. If you are in need of a Handicap spot, please use one of those spots! Please keep in mind that we will have alcohol at the reception, therefore we strongly encourage you to take ride share options such as Uber and Lyft if you plan to drink. What hotel should I stay in?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at 2 downtown hotels that are walking distance to our venue. Please see the Travel tab for more information.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation will include any family members in your party and/or whether you are able to bring a guest. If your invitation does not indicate a guest, please do not bring one, as we will only have enough seating and food for the guests indicated on your RSVP.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we will only have the children of our close family at the wedding. Your invitation will indicate any additional guests allowed.
