Question

Is the wedding still happening on July 11th, 2020?

Answer

Yes, we are still getting married as originally planned on July 11th, 2020 at the Barn at Trinity Peak in Oconomowoc, WI. We understand if family/friends have concerns regarding the coronavirus and cannot attend.

Question

Are there any coronavirus-related safety precautions/restrictions at the wedding?

Answer

There are no mandated coronavirus-related safety precautions or restrictions on the amount of people who can attend, although the barn itself has always had a maximum capacity of 200 (we are currently expecting around 120 guests to attend). However, we will be taking precautions to help guests feel safe (refer to question below).

Question

What safety measures are you taking regarding the novel coronavirus?

Answer

There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the barn and at each table, proper hand-washing by all employees, staff monitored daily upon arrival for health, sanitizing of beverage/bar area on a regular basis, sanitizing of credit cards after transactions, sanitizing of restrooms, knobs, etc. on a regular, on-going basis, water served from the bar and small bottles of water supplied, guests not allowed to reuse glasses at the bar, guests encouraged to bring their empty beverage cups to the bar for disposal in exchange for a new drink, outdoor ceremony, barn doors will remain open throughout the day/night to provide ample airflow, and we will provide face masks for those that want to wear one. We are also using the full amount of tables so that we can limit each table to 6-8 guests (rather than the originally planned 10 guests per table).

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The entire event will be taking place at the venue - Barn at Trinity Peak - in Oconomowoc, WI. The ceremony will be outdoors under a large tree and the reception will be inside the barn.

Question

How to I get to the venue? Where is parking?

Answer

The address to the venue is N80W38726 McMahon Rd, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. However, guests are not allowed to park at the venue. Instead, guests are to park at the Monterey Park Soccer Fields (1/4 mile East of the venue) at the intersection of McMahon Rd and Highway 67. A free shuttle service will be provided between the venue and the soccer fields throughout the night.

Question

How should I dress?

Answer

The wedding party will be in formal attire. We are asking guests to dress between formal and business casual, keeping in mind the ceremony is outside and it will most likely be hot.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RVSP by Saturday, June 20th via our website, which can be accessed by either of the two options: 1) Use the camera app on your smart phone to scan the QR Code on the letter that was sent with your invitation. You do not need to take a picture – just view the QR code through your phone’s camera, and a notification will pop-up. Click it, and it will take you to the website. 2) Type the following URL into your phone/computer’s internet browser: www.zola.com/wedding/happilyeversafterwedding/rsvp

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:45pm, so we are asking guests to arrive at 3:30pm the latest to allow time for the shuttle to get you to the ceremony.

Question

Are face masks required?

Answer

No, they are not. Although, we will have face masks there if you would like to use one.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour for about an hour. Then we will have dinner and desserts, followed by a send-off at 11pm.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, we do - please visit the "Travel" section tab for more information.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, we will have small appetizers and rail drinks during the cocktail hour, Italian food (from That's Amore) during dinner, cupcakes and s'mores for desserts, and beer and wine throughout the night.

Question

What's on the menu for dinner? For dessert?

Answer

Dinner will be catered from our favorite Italian restaurant, That's Amore. There will be salad and breadsticks served family style at your table, as well as a buffet line (staff-served only to eliminate spread of germs) to get any and all of: lasagna, chicken parmigiana, and plain rigatoni with the choice of alfredo sauce, meatballs, or meat sauce. For dessert there will be an assortment of delicious cupcakes and items to make s'mores.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon, but cash/checks are just as appreciated! ;)

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?

Answer

No - we would suggest getting an Uber or Lyft.

Question

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

No, please do not take anything from the barn except for our party favors and incredible memories :)

Question

Can I take pictures during ceremony? Is your ceremony unplugged?

Answer
