Maid of Honor
Megan and I became friends in Mr. Melhorn's 8th grade class when we were forced to sit next to each other! She has been my best friend for over a decade now, and I honestly couldn't imagine my life without her. Even when we lived 6 hours away when she left me for the University of Oregon, nothing got in the way of her always being there for me, even if it was Skype dates to help me with my math homework. She is our permanent 3rd wheel for life!
Bridesmaid
I met Nicole at a mutual friend's birthday dinner when we were seniors in high school, and began hanging out due to being in the same friend group. Nicole became one of my best friends when we became roommates, and we were living together when Jordan and I began dating so she got the pleasure of being one of the first of my friends to meet him. Having her stand by me at my wedding like she's been standing by me for the entirety of mine and Jordan's relationship means the world to me!
Bridesmaid
Meghan and I have an unbreakable bond and we've been through so much together in the short time that we've been friends. I met Meghan about 4 years ago when I ran into her at Bellingham Bar & Grill and recognized her as being one of my customers at Labels as well as the manager of my favorite Starbucks location. Jordan and I met around the same time that Meghan and her fiancé Bobby met, so I don't only get the joy of having her by my side but I get to be by hers as well!
Bridesmaid
"Cousins because our parents couldn't handle us as sisters" Lauren has been my built in best friend for as long as I can remember, and living 1,200 miles apart has never hindered our relationship. We can go years without seeing each other face-to-face, but I know that I can always talk to her about anything and that she'll always be there for me (even if sometimes we take 3 or 4 days to respond to each other's texts haha).
Best Man
Dakota and I first met in the seventh grade even though we went to different middle schools, we met through a golf program. Needless to say we are not Tiger Woods and do not golf anymore. We really became best friends our freshman year of high school when we were both in ROTC and stayed with it through our high school years. We were such best friends that we had the same jobs at one point during high school. Dakota and I have been through everything together even though I do not get to see him that often, he is still my brother. He was the first of my friends from Texas I had that I wanted to introduce Courtney to and I am glad I did. All I have to say is please do not embarrass me too much in your speech!!
Groomsman
Dylan and I first met at our old apartments where he was trying to put in a new rear window in his 1980 F-250 (The Iron Lotus). I met him in the parking lot and talked for a minute then went to my apartment. Five minutes later I heard a huge shatter (his window) so I grabbed my broom and met him in the parking lot and after we cleaned up the mess we enjoyed a nice luke warm Budlight. Ever since then, him and I have lived together for about 2 years and have a bunch of memories and between his mom (Kim), sister (Jade) and himself they have been my Washington family. The first time I had Courtney over when we first started dating she got to meet Dylan, Kim, and Jade and she fit right in to the crazy family. Between all the beer consumed, Taco Bell and your failed dates we are still making it.
Groomsman
Oh brother, but actually. Where do I start with you? Tye and I both met almost twenty five years ago when I was born. The first couple years passed by because I was too young to remember anything. I can literally say we have been through everything together because we have. Some of it I can not put on here because this is public but, we are brothers for life no matter what. I chose him specifically to be a groomsman for two reasons. The first reason is because when Tye moved to Washington he was the first family member of mine I got to introduce Courtney to and he immediately approved of her. The second reason is because he has been with me through thick and thin and I would not trade my brother for anyone else in the world.
Groomsman
Alex and I first met in Nebraska while stationed at our first duty station. We have been on crazy adventures ever since. From our road trip to Tennessee and Texas, to my twenty first birthday, and to our Christmas in July celebrations we always seem to have a good time. When I moved to Washington I thought I would never see him again but he decided to follow me here (which I am thankful for). Ever since the first time we met we have been friends and still are to this day. I introduced Courtney to Alex at Wednesday night trivia and since then we all still hangout and enjoy the occasional Sunday night dinners with each other.
