FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before September 30, 2023. You can simply RSVP right here on our wedding website.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Unfortunately no. We don’t drink, but you are more than welcome to bring your own drinks! Our wedding will be in our backyard, so bring whatever you want! Coolers are welcomed! We will provide water, sweet and unsweetened tea.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes, just make sure you include them in RSVP’s if they will be eating a meal.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Our wedding is in our backyard! There’s plenty of parking, however it will be grassy.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be in our backyard. Its grassy, and some parts will be shaded. We will try to deter mosquitos and will provide bug repellant.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. Cowboy boots are welcomed! We want our guests to be comfortable!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

I really cant answer this question! Texas weather is very unpredictable. Usually in October a typical day ranges from a high of 84°F (29°C) to a low of 60°F (15°C).

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an about 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! We will have our wedding catered by Miller's Smokehouse! You will love this Texas Style BBQ!

Question

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Answer

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to give us a gift, please check out our registry.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Of course! Please be mindful that we hired a professional photographer and they will be taking lots of pictures as well! If you do post pictures, please use our hashtag #happilyeverpowers
