Nearly 4 years ago, I met Jason for the first time as I walked in through the front entrance of a restaurant in West Hollywood called Gracias Madre to find a handsome man with dark hair and a heart melting smile waiting for me to arrive for our first date. I'll never forget the kindness I saw in Jason's eyes right away, his comforting voice, and how cozy and right-at-home I instantly felt sitting next to him. One spicy margarita turned into dinner, hours of talking, laughing, butterflies, big huge sparks and our very first kisses (a bunch of them!) Today we are blessed to be as happy always side by side, and I still get butterflies and can't keep my paws off of this guy. Meeting each other brought the kind of love into our lives and hearts that we both had always hoped we would find someday. We have been looking forward to saying our vows, celebrating this very special day and sharing lots of happy moments together with our cherished friends and family!
Jason planned the most sweet and heartfelt proposal I could have ever imagined. He took me on a weekend getaway to beautiful La Jolla, CA and we explored the town, ate delicious food and visited the sea lions on the coastal rocks which was amazing! On Saturday, Jason suggested we take a visit to a pretty spot under a pier where he hired a photographer to do a little 'impromptu' photoshoot. We arrived and the photographer shot us walking on the beach. When we arrived under the pier, Jason stopped and held my hands and began to speak as he dropped to one knee and my heart dropped too. He asked me to marry him & I was so emotional that I couldn't even speak. He placed a beautiful handmade champagne sapphire and diamond rose gold ring on my finger that is as unique and beautiful as our love and I cried & smiled & cried again. I had hoped and waited for this day for a long time and my heart was so overjoyed to be engaged to such a wondeful man who is truly the one and only love of my life.
