FAQs

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Formal Attire, Garden Inspired. Think elegant garden party meets black tie flair.—for women, long, flowing dresses, floral prints, and summer colors. For men, suits or tuxedos. Our ceremony will take place outdoors in the evening, so please choose fabrics suited for warm weather. We can’t wait to see you all looking fabulous! Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events soon after receiving your invitation. However, the deadline is June 15th. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed on the invitation with their name or by "guest". Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that you enjoy this weekend as a fun getaway just for adults. Our wedding will be an adult-focused celebration, and we appreciate you making arrangements to join us kid-free. Thank you for understanding—we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us! We encourage you to take the provided transportation to and from the Omni Charlottesville Hotel (more details to come on shuttle times).
