It all started at a Fourth of July BBQ at the Delgado/Esquibel house. Funny enough, neither of us were supposed to be there—Sam was supposed to be at the river, and Jonah had plans to play baseball out of town. But as fate would have it, we both ended up at the same backyard celebration (Sam's house at the time). Jonah was immediately intrigued by Sam’s sass and quick wit, while Sam couldn’t help but be curious about Jonah’s quiet, mysterious charm. We spent the evening engaged in playful banter and friendly games, quickly realizing there was an intuitive pull towards each other. That night, Jonah did a little social media sleuthing and found Sam online. We started chatting and wasted no time planning our first official date. One conversation turned into hours, and from that very first date, we both knew this was the beginning of something special. And the rest, as they say, is history.
