Maria and Peyton became close friends in ninth grade. As members of the dance team, they spent countless hours together at practices and competitions. Maria played a role in Peyton and Ross's engagement by keeping Peyton occupied before the big surprise and celebrating the evening with them! Maria now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Evan Opeka
Best Man
It was an easy decision for Ross to make Evan his best man, as Evan is Ross' brother and his longest best friend. Growing up just a few years apart in age, Ross always looked up to Evan. Naturally, as brothers, growing up doing sports their was always a healthy amount of competition between the two. Ross would not be where he is without the way they push and encourage each other to be better. Evan lives nearby Ross and Peyton so it is always easy to wind down together after a long day of work.
Lindsey Dolanch

Lindsey and Peyton also became good friends freshman year in high school through dance team. Peyton and Lindsey have gotten to enjoy becoming home owners at the same time-sharing tips on decorating and recipes. Lindsey is one of Peyton's closest friends that has returned to the Pittsburgh after college.
Andrew D'Arrigo

Andrew and Ross have been friends since high school and they had some ridiculous adventures that they will never forget. Now that they are all older their adventures have changed. They often can be found at the country club having dinner and discussing business, life and home renovations.
Jenna Fairbanks

Peyton and Jenna grew up together in the same town. They became close friends freshman year, also through being members of the dance team. Jenna lights up any room with her sense of humor. No matter how much time goes by without seeing each other, it feels just like old times! Jenna now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina!
Jace Cochrane

Jace and Ross met in 7th grade band class. Jace and Ross became friends and bonded over hockey and skateboarding. It was Jace's basement where Ross and Peyton said their first "I love you" to each other. After high school, Jace moved back to Canada but the two have remained close.
Mary Kathryn Barber

Peyton met MK through Jenna when they were looking for a third roommate sophomore year. They clicked instantly and stayed roommates throughout the rest of college. You could find Peyton and MK on a Starbucks and Target run most days. MK is a born and raised forever Alabama girl!
Matt Stewart

Ross met Matt through his fraternity. Matt “Stew” is easy going and always there for Ross. Dixie thinks Matt is the best babysitter. Matt is from New Jersey and spends a lot of time in NYC. Ross likes to visit Stew in NYC and in December 2023, Matt was able to show Peyton and Ross a few of his favorite places in the city.
Scottie Rogers

Scottie was Peyton's first friend she met at Auburn University! Peyton and Scottie met on the first day of sorority recruitment. They both ended up joining the same sorority and stayed close throughout college. Scottie now lives in Plano, Texas!
John Guglielmi

John was one of the first people that Ross met at Auburn and he had a major influence on Ross' decision to join Sigma Pi. Together they navigated college life and always remained close friends. When Ross told John he was proposing to Peyton, he booked a flight from Florida to help Ross pull off his surprise engagement proposal to Peyton.
Jenna Wettstein

Peyton and Jenna met through their sorority, Pi Beta Phi, at Auburn University. They became fast friends which led to being roommates for sophomore, junior and senior year! Originally from Florida, Jenna now lives in New York City!
Bennett Lisenby

Ross met Bennett through his fraternity. Ross liked Bennett’s truck, and the rest was history. Bennett is from Atlanta and owns Project 15 Motorsports, a classic 4x4 and car restoration and customization company. Bennett and his girlfriend Caroline will always be part of Ross and Peyton's college memories with their trips to Atlanta,New Orleans and Nashville.
