Evan and I were both just hired by a school district to be paraprofessionals in a special education classroom. It was the first day of school where we not only met our new students but we met each other. Julia was a little hesitant at first to mix work with a "cute" boy and for months tried to play it cool and tried to act like she wasn't excited to see Evan at work everyday. After numerous attempts from Evan to ask Julia out for drinks, she finally said yes and little did she know that yes would turn into forever!

It was the year 2020, and to be honest things weren't going well (cough, cough- COVID-19). Evan and I decided to visit our families in Virginia Beach and then book a 1 way to ticket to our favorite place, Anna Maria Island- all while following CDC guidelines of course! Evan and I spent ALOT of time together, and I mean a lot- we were quarantine buddies! Little did I know that my quarantine buddy had been planning this proposal for almost 6 months and in the midst of the pandemic was still continuing to plan with my family and friends. Evan had always known he wanted to pop the question in August at The Morrone's House in Allentown, a family that is very special to us. Evan pulled off the ultimate surprise on August 15, 2020 - a day when we begin our next adventure together surrounded by our family (and friends on Zoom, thanks Covid!). We can't wait to celebrate our love with all of you on our big day!
