Wedding Party

Mercades Rehberger

Matron of Honor

Sadie and I first met when she was dating my older brother, Art. Even after she and Art parted ways, She made sure to stay a big part of the family — and that’s when our bond truly began. It all started with a conversation about the Jonas Brothers (yes, really!), and 15 years later, I can't imagine my life without her by my side. She's the sister I never had, and it was clear from the very beginning that she was the one I wanted standing with me on this special day. Forever part of the #redlipstickcrew4life!

Natalie Jungo

Maid of Honor

Natalie is my little cousin, and despite the big age gap between us, we’ve always been very close. Over the years, we’ve become more like friends. You can usually find Natalie at my house at least twice a week, which just shows how much time we love spending together. There was never any doubt—of course, she had to be one of my bridesmaids!

Monica Rios

Bridesmaid

Monica and I have been close friends for 12 years. Our friendship began when I noticed she was a new student and invited her to join me for lunch. From that moment on, our bond only grew stronger. When it came time to choose my bridesmaids, it was an easy decision to include Monica.

Deborah Garcia

Bridesmaid

Deborah is my cousin and undeniably one of my favorite people. She has been a constant source of support, loyalty, and care through challenging times. Our bond is unshakable, and I can’t imagine my wedding day without Deborah by my side.

Rebecca Martinez

Bridesmaid

Rebecca and I first met at work, and we were instantly surprised by how much we had in common. We even experienced pregnancy at the same time, which brought us even closer. Despite the short time we've known each other, we've already shared many profound and life-changing experiences. I couldn’t be happier to have her as my bridesmaid on this special day.

Daniel Alamaillo

Best Man

I met Daniel when I first moved to Oxnard in 2010, I didn’t know anyone in the area and when I met him, I knew he would be a great friend. He instantly made me feel at home here, introduced me to his amazing family and a great group of people who have made great friends throughout the years. When things have been difficult, the one thing I can count on is that Daniel will always be there for me. He has helped me through tough times and has always been a constant in my family. He is family. Before I met Marissa, Joezy, Isabelle and Peanut had a saying, “Sundays are for Daniel.” Daniel is Peanut’s Godfather, but really he’s acted like all my children’s Godfather. He is thoughtful and kind and I could not think of a better man to have stand by my side to call the best.

Erich Herrera

Groomsman

Erich is my cousin. I met him when I was about 3 years old for the first time, but I didn’t see him again until I was 15. When we “met” at 15, there was an instant connection. We immediately became brothers. We backed each other’s play, watched each other’s backs, challenged each other, and took care of each other. Any time I have visited Canada, it is like you can’t keep us apart. I have always admired him as a father, his drive, patience, and the type of calm (to me anyway) he brings in certain situations. I will always consider him a brother. I am truly blessed to have you in my life Erich and I am grateful you will be standing next to me at our wedding.

Nicholas Davy

Groomsman

I met Nick on a call at work. It was a call of a domestic disturbance. I had never talked to him prior to this call, and he was brand new, off of training. When we were done with the call, we stood out in front of the apartment complex we were just at and were looking out into the city. I looked up and made conversation by saying how crazy it was that there were so many stars visible in the sky. He proceeded to tell me that he took an astrology class in college, to which I replied, “that’s awesome.” Can you tell me about some constellations and stuff? He said, “Well, that’s the big dipper right there.” I didn’t know if he was being serious or joking, so I said, “yeah obviously bro I mean like some cool ones that I wouldn’t know about.” He said, “I don’t know man, I got a C in that class.” We both started laughing pretty hard and the retst is history. Our families are very close and all our kids basically grew up together from birthdays, to beach days. Nick and I have been through a lot together in our personal lives and at work. We can always make each other laugh through things and share that same dark sense of humor, Bad Boys For Life. I am truly grateful for your friendship and I am proud you will be standing next to me at our wedding.

Devon Anderson

Groomsman

I first started talking to Devon when I was his training officer’s partner, but he had been at our station for a while before that. The first time I hung out with him he ordered a fruity blue slushy drink at Ihop while we were working and I started poking fun at him. Devon has always been like a little brother to me. Our families are close and just like with Nick, our kids grew up together. The three of us have kept each other sane through a lot of waves, softball games, and steak dinners. He is not too good at fantasy football so please don’t ever ask him for advice about that. He is a good man and an even better friend. I am proud and grateful he is standing next to me at our wedding.

Bryan Palmer

Groomsman

I met Bryan at work. He got my attention with his response to the one training officer no one would dare talk back to and that was after he spilled his coffee on him (long story I will let him explain). He was part of my favorite team of people I have ever gotten to work on a team with. I have always admired his calm demeanor, his work ethic and his loyalty. I can say that of all my groomsmen, he is the only one I have ever had a physical “altercation” with (I think he took it easy on me). I can always count on Bryan to hold me accountable and give me good, hard truth advice. I am grateful for friends like him and I am proud he is standing next to me at our wedding.
