We’re Getting Married

Welcome to our wedding website, we can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you. Our story began December 2014 in Redondo Beach, California. Sal was visiting his family in his home town of Los Angeles, during his Christmas break. He was finishing up his studies at Southeastern Louisiana University. Melissa was living in Redondo Beach at the time and was indecisive as to whether she should stay in town or do last minute travel for the holiday celebration. Little did she know that staying in town would turn out to be the best decision of her life. After conversation online and talking on the phone “It was a match”! And upon that first meeting in person, there was a connection! Over the Christmas holiday we spent time together, and knew we wanted to stay in touch. Sal still had 2 years left to finish his degree in New Orleans and Mel was working in Los Angeles, but we both believe that a long-distance relationship really bonded us closer in a way that we didn’t see coming. We spent many trips together bonding over those couple of years and came to realize that everything in life comes down to timing. We really did come into each other’s lives in a most unexpected way, but at the perfect time. We can only imagine what life has to offer in matrimony together. We consider ourselves blessed in life, but even more, we are blessed with amazing family and friends and can’t wait to celebrate with you! Let’s get this party started! #HappilyEverLopez2020
