We're getting married!

It was a beautiful chilly Friday evening in September, a perfect night for cocktails on the patio. As Faith would have it, Anais’ plans went south when her friend flaked. As Anais sat at the patio bar sipping her mojito a tall, dark, handsome guy named Frank approached her. Small talk turned into a night of stories & laughter. As the evening progressed they exchanged phone numbers & after they left, it took that handsome good-looking guy two minutes to text if she had plans for the next evening. On their first date, they met at her favorite pizza spot, Pizza Classics. The conversation over dinner was great that they didn’t want the night to end. they both headed over to Southtown where they grabbed an iced coffee & strolled the river walk. They became inseparable; FaceTime calls & cute loving non stop texts to one another. The distance between them did not keep them from their commitment to make this work, as Frank lived in Austin & Anais in San Antonio. They both took turns commuting back & forth for date nights, until Frank took a leap & moved to San Antonio to be closer to the love of his life. Nine months of dating, meeting family & friends, they had their ups & downs, Frank took a commitment & popped the question.

Due to Covid-19, the pair hadn’t had a night out in town for almost three months. Anais had been dying to find a reason to get all dolled up! On Thursday morning, June 11th, Frank asked Anais if she would like to go out for dinner. In between calls Anais did her hair, put her makeup on & dressed for a night out of fun & drinks! After her shift, Anais headed over to her mom’s to steal her man back, as he was helping mom with a smoke machine. As she pulled up to the driveway, her mother texted her to use the side gate, since they were still outback with the smoker. While Anais struggled to open the clearly not unlocked gate, she could hear Dan & Shay’s song "Speechless" playing in the background. After about two minutes, she successfully broke the gate & got in! When she turned around, she saw a trail of red rose pedals that then led up to pedals in the shape of a heart. Above the heart were lanterns that spelled out “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” with two diamond ring balloons on each side. Frank met her at the gate, took her by the hand & walked down the trail till they stood upon the heart. At that point, he handed Anais her favorite flowers, yellow Lillies, got down on one knee & popped the question!! We are beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!!
