Welcome To Our Love Story!

It is Winter 2006, Melissa arrives for yet another shift at CVS Pharmacy where she was working as a supervisor while in college. As she looks over her itinerary for the day, she remembers there is a new hire starting that afternoon. She’s preparing the necessary paperwork when there is a knock on the office door, and an unfamiliar face appears in the window. The door opens to an unassuming 16 year old who nervously introduces himself as Mike, the new hire. Little did they both know then and there, what fate had in store for them. Throughout the year of Mike’s employment, they became acquaintances who would sometimes see each other outside of work with mutual friends. Eventually Mike left to enjoy his last year of high school and was preparing to take off for college. They lost touch but would see each other by chance over the next few years when Mike would stop in CVS from time to time when he was in town. Fast forward to 2010, Mike is transferring to a campus closer to home and is in search for a job. Mike comes in contact with one of his former coworkers from CVS who’s still working for the company and suggests to him to apply at the store he’s currently working in. On a whim during the application process, Mike decides to also apply to the store he had previously worked in. To his surprise he is hired at his old store and was now reunited with Melissa. Neither thought anything odd at the time, but fate had intervened once again. It’s the year 2012 and both Mike and Melissa started to notice they had more in common than previously. They’re relationship had grown from acquaintances to friends. Mike secretly looked forward to Sunday morning shifts with Melissa when they’d open the store together and were able to chat before the morning rush. Mike joked with his coworkers about always having had a crush on Melissa but everyone knew there was truth to it. Finally with the encouragement of a few coworkers, Mike asked for a date which Melissa happily accepted.

From the first date on, the rest could only be described as pure magic. The connection was immediately apparent. For years they grew closer, fell in love, became a part of the other’s family and most importantly loved each other more each day. On November 4, 2017 Mike and Melissa celebrated their 5 year anniversary, a few days early, with dinner in the city. To top the night off, the two enjoyed a romantic horse and carriage ride through Central Park where Mike surprised Melissa with a proposal, and the two became happily engaged. As of present day, Michael and Melissa can’t wait to say their “I Do’s” on September 5, 2019, in front of their family and friends. They look forward to embarking on a new adventure as husband & wife! .
