Frequently Asked Questions

Question

Where is the venue located?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at Lindsey Plantation in Taylors, South Carolina. The venue is located at 754 Camp Creek Rd, Taylors, SC 29687.

Question

Where will the Ceremony and Reception be held?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held in the pasture directly West of the stable (weather permitting). It is then a very short walk over to the stable for cocktail hour and our reception. Please feel free to take advantage of the gorgeous views surrounding the venue during cocktail hour!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive between 2:30 and 2:45 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests wear elevated semi-formal attire. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie. Ladies should wear a dress that falls below the knee at midi/tea-length. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions regarding the dress code.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

We ask that you please park in the grassy area on the opposite side of the driveway from the stable so that no vehicles are captured in any of the photography or videography of our special day. There will be signage on the property directing you to the parking area. This area will be suitable for most if not all vehicles.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you have a plus-one noted on your invitation, then yes! Your plus-one will appear when you RSVP. Due to limited venue space, we will not be able to accommodate additional guests not included on your invitation.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We look forward to celebrating our big day with you! Please RSVP as soon as possible. The deadline to RSVP will be 09/12/2025

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that you put your phones away and refrain from taking pictures during our ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like! We also ask that you please not post any photos to social media until the Bride and Groom have had a chance to share the news of their special day! We greatly appreciate your respect of this request.

Question

Will the Bride be taking the Groom's last name?

Answer

The answer is yes! The future Mr. & Mrs. Kerby are very excited to spend the rest of their lives together!
