One of the couples favorite restaurant! Fresh seafood and amazing service this is a must try in Vail! Chelsea's favorite dish are the King Crab Legs and James's is the Ahi Tuna!
Pepi's Bar & Restaurant
This is a historic restaurant owned by one of the founding families of Vail, go enjoy traditional German cuisine or stop and have a beer on their deck and listen to live entertainment. Chelsea's favorite drink here is a Hot Toddy and James's is a Bloody Marry!
Red Lion
Amazing restaurant for families and also a great burger! One of the couples favorite spot to hear live music, you can really feel the history of Vail at the Red Lion!
Tavern On The Square
Great option for breakfast and fun drinks at happy hour! They do have a buffet and full menu for breakfast just please double check off season hours!
Berry Picker Hiking Trail
Chelsea's family hiked this every year as a kid and James loves hiking up to be rewarded with a beer at the top! This intermediate trail winds down from Mid-Vail or Eagle's Nest to Vail Village or Lionshead. 3.2 miles (5.1 km), 2–3 hours one way. You can also hike up the trail and take the Lionshead gondola down for free
Vail Adventure Ridge
Chelsea recommends going up for a picture opportunity and James LOVES the Alpine Slide (no surprise there). Option one is to take the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead directly up to Adventure Ridge· Or guests can take Gondola One in Vail Village from 9:30am – 4pm up and then they can then hike one mile over to Adventure Ridge. It’s an easy to moderate trail called Fireweed. At Adventure Ridge there are ropes courses, zip lines, rock walls and an alpine slide!
VailOktoberfest
Yes its Oktoberfest during our wedding weekend! Munich comes to Vail for the world’s greatest celebration - Oktoberfest! The event features two full weekends of blown-out Bavarian fun. Crowd favorite events include Bratwurst Eating, Keg Bowling and Stein Lifting, which are sure to leave participants and spectators overflowing with Oom-pah! Vail Bike Tours
Vail Sports can offer bike rentals then you can enhance their experience by having the bikes brought to the top of Vail Pass and guests can bike down. Vail Sports offers a guide for this tour to assist guests should they need guidance, bike help etc.
