We met for our first date on July 8, 2023, with a simple plan: coffee at the local shop between our apartments, followed by time at the driving range. As the day went on, the date kept extending - dinner at Urban Village, drinks at Frankford Hall, and a late-night conversation on Jack's rooftop. Neither of us wanted the date to end. A little over a month later, on August 18th, we offically became "boyfriend and girlfriend". From there, we spent most of our free time together - getting coffee, golfing, running errands, and going on what soon became nightly walks around Northern Liberties. Golf remained a constant, which made Jack's proposal on the 18th green of Bala especially fitting. I had no idea it was coming - despite a few behind-the-scenes mishaps that Jack swiftly smoothed over - and was so surprised when both our parents came out to celebrate with us. What followed was exactly our style: good company, good food, and a day that felt like us. During our engagement, we're still finding time to do the things that feel like us - grabbing coffee, golfing, taking nightly walks, and now bringing our Golden Retriever puppy, Scottie, along for the adventure. Now, we are excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who know us best!
