One very blustery summer evening on top of Silver Lake Sand Dunes, two RA's met for the first time during COVO staff photos. Bri immediately noticed Ben's kindness, great sense of humor, and contagious smile. Ben was struck by Bri's sense of humor being similar to his own, her empathy for others, and the fact that she was the only girl he thought could pull off a nose ring. Their initial meeting turned into a great friendship over the following months. The pair were scheduled for Thursday night RA duty every week, and shared many midnight walks together to return their keys that were filled with laughter, singing tracks from Hamilton, and telling one another interesting stories about their lives thus far. It was through these evenings that they realized they understood and valued one another deeply, and before they knew it, they fell in love.
