Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Tropical Cocktail attire. Resort chic/tropical attire is casual and breezy but still has plenty of glamour. It means lightweight fabrics like cotton and linen. Men can opt for neutral colors paired with bright, tropical prints with boat shoes, loafers, or sandals. Women can wear slacks, maxi or short dresses with wedges or flat sandals. No jeans or cargo shorts/pants.

Question

What is check-in and check-out time at the resort?

Answer

Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is usually at 12 PM.

Question

What if my room is not ready when I arrive at the resort?

Answer

If you arrive a little early or if your room is not ready when you arrive, the bellman will store your luggage and deliver it to your room when it’s available. Tip! You are welcome to grab some lunch and an umbrella drink and head to the beach or pool to begin enjoying your vacation right away.

Question

When do I need to submit my flight information to Romance Travel Group for my airport transfers to/from hotel?

Answer

No later than June 23rd, 2023. If submitted after this time, you will need to arrange your own transfers to/from the resort. Please contact Shannon Jacobson at 507-550-1137 or Shannon@RomanceTravelGroup.Com If your flight information has changed or your arrival has been delayed, please contact Lomas Travel at 1-844-506-2726 so they can adjust the vehicle pick up for you! Question

Does the resort have a dress code?

Answer

Restaurants often have dress codes, especially in the evening. Gentlemen, you’ll be most comfortable in a pair of khakis and a collared shirt in the evenings. Long pants are required in some restaurants. Also, bring a pair of closed-toe shoes. Shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts or sneakers may not be allowed. Ladies, capris, sundresses and slacks are all acceptable. Tip for the ladies! Pack a light sweater for evenings as the air conditioning can be chilly.

Question

Can I drink the water?

Answer

The hotel filters its water. However, we recommend only using bottled water for drinking and brushing your teeth. The hotel will serve bottled water in all of the restaurants even though the water may be poured from a pitcher. Tip! Place a hand towel over the faucet while brushing your teeth. This will remind you not to rinse your toothbrush in the sink. Be sure to have bottled water handy by the sink.

Question

How much should I tip?

Answer

Even though tips are technically included, we recommend bringing small bills (1's and 5's) to use for tipping here and there. Hotel employees work hard and appreciate tips for excellent service. Your transfer driver is not a hotel employee and will expect a tip. We give $10 for a private ride or $2 per bag for a shared ride. Around the resort, we tip $2 for every other round of drinks at the bar, $10 for dinner service, $5 per day for housekeeping, etc. Do what you’re comfortable with, and in response to the service you receive. Tip! We usually plan about $15 - $20 per person, per day for tips.

Question

What's the best way to communicate without using cell service?

Answer
