We’re getting married!

Daisy and Sam first met in the fifth grade when their schools had an overnight field trip to Camp Duncan. They were in the same canoe instruction class, and hated one another from the moment they met. Sam loved to pick on Daisy the entire time they were there. His catch phrase was “Hey Daisy, where’s Donald” classic, right? They didn’t speak again until they both attended Carl Sandburg middle school. They had hung out more than a few times, but never alone. Thanks to the best man & best wingman, Troy Leatherman, he told Sam to act on his little crush and Sam invited Daisy to memorial park where Daisy watched him pop some wheelies on his bike, they talked and hung out until the sun set and the November night grew cold. That night, Sam felt the moment was right and asked Daisy to be his girlfriend on the corner of Pershing and Division. ----- Fast forward a few years, the two attend Murray State university, travel, and step out of their comfort zones together. The two decide to move cross country after graduation. They made maps to color where they would live, matched the two up, and found Colorado was the one. After graduation, they headed out of Kentucky to start the next chapter of their lives. ----- They make the jump and get their first apartment together in Loveland, Colorado with their two pups, Sadie & Avery. February 2, 2019 Sam pops the question in their first home together and the rest is history. ----- After years of history filled with so many emotions, especially love, we are beyond ready to tie the knot, take the Hertel last name, and make two families into one. We cannot wait to celebrate our big day with the people we love most in the world!
