Adam & Danielle met in May 2011 while working at the Iron Horse Hotel in Milwaukee, WI. Adam was suppose to be training Danielle in the magical ways of the restaurant. Danielle does not always take direction well and knew what she was doing, quickly proving her serving skills to Adam by making him a lot of money one busy night. Adam quickly fell in love, dragged her into a hottub with a bottle of Jamison, and the rest is history. The picture at the bottom of the page is from their first "real" date. They now live in Memphis, TN with their two furbabies, Jacob and Javelin, and a lemur. Danielle is completing her medical school education and Adam is Director of Business Development for RIB technology in Memphis. He travels often for work and enjoys flying in his freetime. Their favorite date night involves trying a new restaurant and ordering Mezcal or Bourbon cocktails. Traveling is a shared love between them, and they are hoping to fill up their passports long before they expire.
We were on a snorkeling trip and the boat anchored for our last stop of the day. Adam told me we should just go walk the beach, but naturally I didn't want to do that, I wanted to snorkel. So we snorkeled for a bit and then Adam finally convinced me to go walk along the beach. We had to swim from the boat to the beach because it was too shallow close to the beach for the boat to go to the dock. Adam told me he was grabbing a t-shirt and his credit card to grab a drink at the beach bar down the way. I didn't think anything of it while he was swimming to the beach, with one hand out of the water holding his t-shirt& cc. I even yelled at him to put on his t-shirt while we were walking, because he was so sunburned (which he didn't do). We were looking out over the water when Adam said "Wouldn't it be nice to adventure like this for the rest of forever?" He started walking away from the water and when I turned to see why, he was down on one knee. It was the happiest moment of my life.
