Ramahn, raised in North Carolina and New Jersey, comes from a family with deep Southern roots and a lifelong connection to music and culture. Chanel, raised on Long Island, was shaped by her Belizean heritage and an early calling toward storytelling and public relations. When they first met in 2011, Ramahn was already an established music executive, and Chanel was a young publicist navigating the industry with ambition and grace. Their connection began professionally but quickly evolved into a lasting friendship, one grounded in mutual respect, shared values, and an undeniable ease. Over the years, life led them down separate paths, but as fate would have it, those paths eventually realigned. On March 30, 2019, after both had closed previous chapters, Ramahn and Chanel went on their official first date at Sammy’s on City Island, a bold choice, considering Ramahn is allergic to shellfish. (Those closest to them will gladly remind you of the now-legendary Ruth’s Chris moment in May 2019, when Chanel nearly let him choke because she was enjoying her crab cake just a little too much.) Around this time, Chanel’s friends affectionately dubbed Ramahn “Mr. Probation,” firmly refusing to meet any new suitor until it was clear he was serious. Spoiler alert: he passed with flying colors and is now referred to as Mr Fiance. In February 2021, they moved in together, continuing to build a life centered on love, faith, and family. Ramahn is the proud father of two daughters, Sienna and Madison, and a son, Xavier. Chanel is the devoted mother of her son, Chase. Together, they lead a beautifully blended family, remaining open — God willing — to expanding it even further. Faith has been a steady anchor throughout their relationship. While Ramahn had always been a faithful man, witnessing Chanel’s deep commitment to her walk with God inspired him to return more intentionally to church. Though both are Christian, Ramahn is Baptist and Chanel is Roman Catholic, and they honor both traditions by alternating churches every other Sunday — a reflection of the respect, balance, and unity that define their partnership. As true partners, Ramahn and Chanel continue to collaborate professionally, including working together on various projects. They also share a love for refined experiences and exploration, traveling together to Miami, Key West, Aruba, Belize, the Bahamas, Tulum, Cancun, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Cabo, Orlando, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas — with many more destinations still ahead. On December 20, 2025, during their family's annual Cousins Christmas celebration at home and surrounded by family, Ramahn proposed, a moment as intimate and intentional as the life they’ve built together. Chanel said yes. They are honored to begin this next chapter and look forward to celebrating their union with those they love most.
