We were vacationing in New Orleans, soaking up the magic of the city. On our last full day, we found ourselves wandering through the French Quarter—laughing, exploring, and savoring every moment together. I had no idea what was coming. Then, right in the middle of all the color and chaos of the Quarter, time seemed to stand still. Suddenly, it felt like it was just the two of us. And in that moment, he asked me the question that would change everything. I was completely blindsided—in the most beautiful way. Surprised, overwhelmed, and so deeply happy. In that moment, everything felt right. I knew, without a doubt, that no matter what life brings—the highs, the lows, and all the moments in between—I want to face it all with him. Matthew, because of you, I’m better. And this is just the beginning of our forever.

Groom
“Breathe in, breathe out…” That’s what I kept telling myself on the morning of Saturday, July 20th, 2024. After so much excitement building up to that day—the ring, the city, the experience—I still found myself trembling with anticipation when the moment finally came. There we were: just the two of us. I got down on one knee and asked the question that had been living in my heart. I realize that moment was so much more than just the question, it marked the beginning of a new chapter, a deeper commitment to a life we're building together. Every time I think about that day, I remind myself what a gift it is to be chosen by someone so special. How do you honor a “yes” like that? For me, the answer is simple: I look back on everything we’ve already been through together. Terrence, you are a gift in my life. It brings me endless joy to say “Love Me Jeje” with you, now and forever.
