we’re getting married!

Nick and Kendall first met on August 22, 2016 at a UC vs. NKU soccer game through their mutual friend, Val. Who would've known that their first meeting would lead to all of this! Their first "date" was with friends at Oktoberfest in downtown Cincinnati, where Nick proceeded to ignore Kendall most of the night. She didn't give up though, and kept trying to chat him up via social media, and eventually getting his phone number. Their first time really hanging out alone together was at Kendall's old apartment, when she asked him to come over and watch the new season of Stranger Things with her, because she was "too scared". HA. Little did he know. A few weeks later, they took their first road trip to Red River Gorge to go hiking, and that's when the infamous "first photo" of them was posted on Facebook for everyone to see. Since then, they’ve been inseparable! They spent almost every day/night together while in their final years of college, working around class schedules to see each other whenever they could. At first, Kendall didn't quite understand why Nick was at the gym more than he was at home, but she rolled with it! She quickly came to realize it was just something that came with the package. They took it to the next level after college when they moved in to their first place together in 2018. It was the true test on their relationship, and they passed with flying colors. In 2019, they bought their first home together, and on December 28th, 2019, Nick got down on 1 knee in front of a helicopter at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati and asked Kendall to marry him. The answer was obvious. :)
