The Springs Resort & Spa at Arenal
The Springs is our wedding venue and is a 5-star resort. They offer 48-hour passes for $70 to enjoy the use of their 9 hot springs. The Springs also hosts Club Rio Adventure, where you can do many outdoor activities and excursions for an average price of $35.
Hotel Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa
This is the upscale boutique hotel that we are offering a block at. Joe and Shannon will be staying at Kioro, and the post-reception brunch will also be hosted here.
Los Lagos Hotel, Spa & Resort
This is the more budget and family friendly hotel option we are encouraging guests to stay at.
Arenal Volcano National Park
Free Natural Hot Springs River
Right after Tabacon, there is a bridge crossing over a river. Park on the side of the road (well off the road because there is lots of traffic), and head down the trail on the south side of the bridge. It's a 1 minute walk from the road.
Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park
Take a guided tour and see the Hanging Bridges.
El Jardín de Frida Restaurante
El Jardín de Frida Restaurante was called My Coffee when we visited to book our venue. It was our favorite place in town, and we stopped there every morning for coffee and breakfast. They have since expanded their menus and offerings to include dinner service!
Pollo Fortuneño
A top rated local restaurant famous for their chicken dishes. Get there by 6 p.m. if you want the rotisserie chicken (hint: you do!).
La Parrilla de María Bonita
We went here for a more upscale date night. It's a lovely open-air Lebanese steakhouse restaurant with live music and affordable cocktails!
Yellow Bark
Great local food!
Restaurante Don Rufino
Don Rufino is the premier upscale dining experience in La Fortuna.
Pizza Ranch
If you're craving pizza in the jungle, this is the place to get it. Go for the stuffed crust!
