We’re getting married!

Katelyn called Laura on a Friday evening to invite Laura to a dinner to celebrate Katelyn's upcoming birthday. At first, Laura did not feel motivated enough to leave the house, as it was already dark outside. Katelyn had to do a little persuading. Katelyn then added her friend, Jackie, to the call, who was already on her way to pick up Katelyn to head to the restaurant. Laura agreed to meet the girls at Square One in Danbury, CT. Once Laura arrived, she exited her car and realized, Jackie had her boyfriend and his friend along for the ride. Katelyn embraced Laura with a hug and introduced Laura to the new faces.... Jackie, Aubrey, and... Brendan. Laura shook Brendan's hand but thought nothing of it. The group headed into the restaurant to be seated for dinner. At the beginning of the meal, the waitress asked each individual what he/she wanted to drink. Because Laura did not want to break the bank, she wanted to order a beer, but Laura did not know what kind to try, as she rarely drinks beer. Laura then heard Brendan order a Bud Light, so she did the same. Throughout dinner, the group discussed many topics, including social media usage and Laura/Katelyn's line dancing hobby. Brendan then specifically asked Laura what her Snapchat name was. Laura shared it with Brendan, again thinking nothing of it. Katelyn's celebration dinner then ended and Laura left the group, who was headed back to Wingdale, NY. The next day, Laura was attending the Relay for Life fundraiser at Western CT State University as part of her sorority. Laura was expected to line dance that evening at Bull and Barrel in Brewster, NY, but following the fundraising event, Laura was not feeling very well. Laura went to sleep early. When she woke up the next morning, she had many Snapchat messages from someone named "Brendino." Laura replied to Brendan and after a few messages, Brendan asked for Laura's phone number. Brendan and Laura began officially dating on May 6, 2015 and the rest is history.
