During Hurricane Ida, Christopher “evacuated” to Slidell for the storm. Before losing electricity, Christopher got on Tinder to do some swiping. He saw this gorgeous girl named Kelly from Mobile, AL and thought, no way she can be real. He gave her his one and only Super Like and swiped right. Luckily, he received a notification saying “It’s A Match!” Christopher had to make a good impression so he used the amazing pick up line “What do you call a row of people lifting mozzarella?” Kelly was curious and said “That’s a tough one. I’m not sure” and he replied “A cheesy pick up line!” The two hit it off ever since. They messaged each other back and forth throughout the next few days and even got to the point of FaceTiming to make sure that each other was actually real. On September 19th, 2021, Kelly and Christopher went to Patio 44 in Biloxi, MS for their first date. A date that was supposed to last only an hour lasted a day as they got to know each other on a deeper level. It was the greatest date of all time! After seeing each other over the next month, Christopher asked Kelly to be his girlfriend while eating Canes on October 26, 2021. She said yes! Kelly and her cat Meeko would drive to Metairie from Mobile to see Christopher and his dog Saint. The love grew between them more and more every day. Fast forward to 2025, Christopher and Kelly took a trip to Greece for a trip of a lifetime. Christopher discretely had a plan to propose. He told Kelly about a dinner reservation he booked and on the way, they had a great view of the Acropolis he’d like to see. After the mile hike, there it was, the Acropolis. On May 9, 2025, Christopher got down on one knee and proposed to Kelly. On May 9, 2026 a year later, Kelly and Christopher are getting married!
