We met on February 7th 2015, on a cold wintery night in a library, reading a book... wait a minute, this is Scott and Sam we are talking about...We met at a bar, but about a week earlier matched on Tinder, that lovely dating app. So we matched, and neither of us had the guts to talk to each other. So fast forward to the bar. I was sitting on the other side with my friend, Sara. He was sitting on his side with his friend, Andrew. We were enjoying time with our friends, when Andrew yelled out "hey look there's Stringer". Scott tucked his head in his drink (which we will get to that later). Andrew came over to our table, and started talking to my friend and I. I asked Andrew who his cute friend was, and he said Oh that's my buddy, Scott. So after looking at him from a distance, I started to think that I've seen him before. I searched on Tinder real quickly and saw we had matched! Later on, Scott finally came over and started to talk to us, and then he said he was leaving to meet up with some friends. I informed him that he knew how to get a hold of me. A few days passed and I received a message on Tinder (finally he figured it out). He asked if I would be up for a non-traditional date on Valentines day. Of COURSE I accepted. We met up at 9th Street Pub, and then started to walk to Addision, getting to really know each other, he said "I have something to tell you". In the back of my mind, I thought oh no, he is married. He simply just said I was engaged once, and I said oh that's not bad, and then he proceeded to tell me that her last name was Stringer. WHAT?! No WAY! He asked if I was related to anyone in Florida/North Carolina with the last name Stringer. I said no, but had to ask my dad the next day, and thankfully we weren't. After a ton of mutual friends, knowing his dog in high school, and going through life without each other, we have now found each other without looking, and plan to be with each other for the rest of our lives.
