What is black-tie preferred?

Answer

We request that guests wear floor-length gowns or tuxedos with black neckties or bowties, if possible.

May I wear white, ivory, or cream?

Answer

Please refrain from wearing gowns of any white hue or gowns that significantly feature white in their design on our special day.

What parking is available at the Pro Cathedral of St. Peter?

Answer

There is a parking lot which holds about 35 cars, adjacent to the church, which can be used on a first come, first served basis. Street parking downtown is free on the weekends.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the Pro-Cathedral from 1:30 to 1:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm. Late arrivers will not be admitted out of respect to the religious ceremony.

What can I expect from the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is a full Catholic Mass with communion, which will likely last 60 to 75 minutes. A program will be provided with the order of the Mass and songs. Catholics who have received their First Communion may receive Communion. All others are welcome to approach the altar to receive a blessing from the priest.

May I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that guests refrain from the use of any electronic device during the ceremony out of respect of the solemnity of the sacred ceremony. We are excited to share the beautiful photographs our photographer captures afterwards. Thank you for understanding.

What are the transportation options to and from the reception?

Answer

Guests are welcome to drive to Brandermill Country Club, where there is ample parking. Vehicles may be left overnight. The country club is in a well developed area and reports smooth experiences historically with ride share services, such as Uber and Lyft.

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to spend cocktail hour in an outdoor pergola. The remainder of the reception will be indoors.

At what time will dinner be served?

Answer

Dinner will commence at 7 o’clock in the evening.
