Our first date was a day trip to Half Moon Bay where we first landed at Cameron's Pub. We bonded over playing a very outdated 1970s trivia game and enjoyed a nice lunch. We then took our adventure farther down the coast, pulling off at a beach that grabbed our attention. We hopped back in the car and Keith's car refused to run. He goes to the trunk to grab a wrench and disconnects the battery. He murmured something about an "ECU", whatever that is, and reconnects the battery and the car was as good as new. Adventure is a treasure hunt where the journey is the real prize. Since meeting we have owned 13 different cars and 12 bikes. Every breakdown becomes a story, every squeaky door a reminder of how we laughed our way through a rainstorm with no working wipers. Our life isn't about getting from point A to point B; it's about the spaces in-between.
