We initially met at the Baptist Student Union at Mississippi State University during final exam study hours. We found each other through mutual friends, and we all studied for the same Statistics final. We started talking about family dynamics and golden retrievers. Little did we know, this would spark interest later on. After Christmas break, our friends started spending more time together. This created opportunities for us to see each other serve, interact, and get to know each other better. After spending some time around each other, Katherine DM'd Austin on Instagram. This led to more one-on-one conversations where they both shared their testimonies with one another. Following these conversations, Austin knew he wanted to take Katherine on a date. They got dinner at Bulldog Burger Co. in Starkville, MS. After an evening of laughter, conversation, and good food, they both knew they wanted to experience more of life's enjoyable moments together. After that, there were many little reading dates at sunrise, picnics at sunset, and where Austin would propose out at the Refuge. This quickly became and will always be our favorite spot. Ever since, there have been laughs, tears, deep conversations, and pure joy. We are super excited to live Happily Ever Hamil!
